Simrad Sounders
Simrad currently offers two external CHIRP sounder modules, the SonarHub and the BSM-3. The BSM-2, a predecessor to the BSM-3, is now discontinued.
These sounders connect to compatible displays through a Simrad Ethernet cable.
Simrad SonarHub
The SonarHub is an external CHIRP sounder which uses Airmar low-power single-band transducers in the Low, Medium or High bands.
Simrad BSM-3
The BSM-3 is a high-performance CHIRP external sounder that uses Airmar dual-band CHIRP transducers in the Low/Medium and Low/High bands.
Simrad BSM-2 (Discontinued)
The BSM-2 is a previous generation of the BSM-3 and is now discontinued..
Simrad S5100
The S5100 supports three CHIRP channels and can be used with a dual-band and a single-band CHIRP transducer simultaneously.
